By using TheBurgering Prep ("the app"), you agree to these terms.

What the app is

TheBurgering Prep is a study aid to help you prepare for the Dutch inburgering (civic integration) exam administered by DUO. It is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to DUO, the Dutch government, or any government agency.

No guarantee of exam results

Practicing with this app does not guarantee you will pass the official exam. Content is written and reviewed to be accurate, but you should verify important factual and procedural information (deadlines, required documents, official rules) against official DUO sources before relying on it for real decisions.

Accounts

You need an account to use the app. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be old enough to legally consent to these terms in your country of residence.

Subscriptions and purchases

Some features (such as an ad-free experience) require a paid subscription or one-time purchase, processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by the app store you purchased through — refer to their refund policies. You can restore a previous purchase from Profile → Restore purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's content or source code except as permitted by law
• Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, ad mechanisms, or usage limits through unauthorized means
• Redistribute or resell the app's content (questions, audio, images) outside the app

Content ownership

All exam questions, explanations, audio, and images in the app are either originally created for TheBurgering Prep or licensed for use in it. You may use this content for personal study only.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Profile → Remove account. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheBurgering Prep and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including exam outcomes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
